Event: Soundstation Festival

On 28th May 2006 a new music festival launched in the Midlands, with the aim of bringing world-class established and up-and-coming artists to the people of the region.

Split across 2 stages the event delivered an electrifying line-up of the hottest artists, djs and bands from the dance and indie/rock genres, and some that crossed over the boundary between the two.

Big Cat Group designed, planned and delivered all events management, production and logistics for the split site event. The team worked with Birmingham city council to license Eastside Park and ensured all health & safety issues including risk management were implemented to the highest level.

The events team sourced, liaised and managed the full range of relevantly skilled and experienced suppliers from AV and staging, to power, fencing, sanitation and concession caterers. The event director produced a detailed event manual which provided a meticulous plan of the event from build; through live to break-down.
